OCIE PEPPERS

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Ocie Byron Peppers, 88, of Hughes Springs died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, 
in a local nursing home.

Mr. Peppers was born April 5, 1915, in Cass County, Texas. He was a building supply laborer, a Baptist 
and an Army veteran.

Survivors include three sons, Byron Peppers of Hughes Springs, Gary Peppers of Detroit, Mich., and 
Reggie Peppers of Houston; one daughter, Debra Hatten of Hughes Springs; one sister, Vera Lewis of 
Hughes Springs; one brother, H.C. Peppers of Hughes Springs; and six grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Love Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Lyonel Traylor officiating. 
Burial will be in Love Chapel Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
