Clinton Royal

HUGHES SPRINGS - Services for Clinton Royal, 86, of Hughes Springs, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Reeder-Davis Chapel, with the Rev. Eric Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Avinger. Mr. Royal died April 21, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Royal was born September 12, 1923, in Cass County. He was a member of Love Chapel Baptist Church and retired from Lone Star Steel. Survivors include his wife, Claudia Beatrice Royal; daughters, Julia Royal, Wanda Gaston, Claudia Espie and Bobbie Coleman; sons, Billy Royal and Glyen Royal; and siblings, Everett Royal, James Denmark and Armie Wade.
