Willie Louise Stanton

LINDEN - Funeral services for Willie Louise Stanton, 67, of Hughes Springs, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Maurice McMillion officiating. Burial will be in Mims Chapel Cemetery in Avinger. Arrangements are by Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Mrs. Stanton died June 15, 2010, at a Dallas hospital.

Mrs. Stanton was born April 10, 1943, in Marion County. She was a faithful member of Hughes Chapel Baptist Church where she served as Deaconess. Survivors include children, Melba Stevenson, Victor Chism and Hazel Rockwell; brothers, Willie L. Stanton and Carlton Chism; and sisters, Wrotee Edwards, Ophelia Stanton, Shirley Harris, Freddie Reed, Betty Cheatham and Linda Chism Patterson. Viewing will be today, June 18, 2010, at the funeral home.
