JAMES SMITH

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-James "Peavine" Smith, 55, of Hughes Springs died Thursday, April 15, 2004, 
in a Tyler, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Smith was born March 20, 1949, in Marietta, Texas. He was a forklift operator and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Terry Smith of Hughes Springs; three sons, Mack Ingram, James T. Smith II and 
Tony Smith of Hughes Springs; one daughter, Teresa Lynn Moore of Hughes Springs; his mother, Thelma 
Smith of Marietta; one brother, Kenneth Smith of Dallas; one sister, Missie McCord of Hughes Springs; 10 
grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 3 p.m. today at Oakridge Baptist Church, Marietta, with the Revs. Ricky Vestal and Jim 
Holloway officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
