Biography
Mrs. Henderson was the loving wife to Earl Crawford Henderson for
60 years. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was a lifelong
resident of Red Hill and Linden. She was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Linden, a LVN by profession and worked with Dr. T.K. and Joe
Nichols at the Ellington Memorial Hospital in Atlanta and at the
Linden Municipal Hospital in addition to other local hospitals. She
was independent, fun loving and a caring woman known by many for her
beautiful quilts and accomplished craft work. She always had a ready
smile and was gracious to all she met. Mrs. Henderson was adored by
her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include five children; Mary Lynn Wilson of Linden, Joann O?
Rand of Linden, Sam Henderson of Gilmer, Royce Henderson and wife
Cindy, of Linden and Joyce Henderson of Silver Spring; Maryland; two
daughters-in-law, Helen Beth Love of Silver Spring, Maryland and
Barbara Henderson of Shreveport, Louisiana. Her oldest son, William
Earl preceded her in death in October 2005.
Survivors also include 10 loving grandchildren and their spouses, 14
great grandchildren and their spouses and 3 great great grandchildren.
Also, of her 10 brothers and sisters Inez is survived by her loving
sister, Eunice Chaisson of Houma, Louisiana, Lue Linwood, her
caregiver of seven and a half years, many nieces, nephews, and a host
of friends.

Biography
Sis. Dixie Police was born to the parentage of the late Ruby Beard,
and Houston Webster on April 6, 1929 in Mount. Pleasant, Texas.
At the age of 9 years old, Sis. Police was saved, sanctified and
filled with the Holy Ghost under the ministry of Elder Lyons at the
First Church of God in Christ. She was taught, lead and guided by the
late church mother, Ada Jones during her formative years in the
teachings and doctrines of the Church of God in Christ.
Sis. Police attended Booker T. Washington Schools in Mount Pleasant,
Texas, was a housewife, and was married to Willie Lee Police Sr. in
1946.
Sis. Police passed away December 13, 2005 in a Mount Pleasant
Hospital. She was preceded in death by a devoted grandmother, Addie
Beard, a special cousin, Rosetta ?Sicky? Hall, parents, husband, two
daughters, Ella Mae Police and Lou Della Anderson, three sons, Sam
Police, Will James Police and Baby Police.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, W.L. and Sheila Police
of Mount Pleasant; five daughters, Mary Louise Weatherall, Dorothy Mae
Police, Sarah Ann Police, and Johnnie Jean Police of Mount Pleasant,
and Lillie Pearl Police of Paris, three reared grandchildren, Monica
Police, Clay Eric Police, and D.C. Police of Mount Pleasant, 10
grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild;
one brother and sister-in-law, Charles Ray, Sr. and Opal Webster,
sister-in-law, Willie Gene Police of Mount Pleasant, brother-in-law,
John Police of Mt. Pleasant; special cousins, Patsy Mayshack, Frankie
Mangram, and Robert Beard, an aunt, Pinkie Webster, of California, and

Biography
Justine Royal was born to the parentage of Willie and Fannie Royal
Bruce in Mandeville, Arkansas, July 24, 1926.
The family moved to Hughes Springs when she was a young girl and she
joined the Love Chapel Baptist Church where she served as a faithful
member until the year 2000. She was one of the founders of the Greater
Love Community Baptist Church where she faithfully served until her
health failed.
She was united in marriage to Luther Wesley Royal on March 5, 1945. To
this union, one daughter was born. She is preceded in death by her
husband, Mr. Luther Royal, one brother Clinso Bruce, one sister, Iris
Bruce Powell, both parents, Willie and Fannie Bruce.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Sheryl Fisher (Ezell)
of Hughes Springs; four sisters, Mrs. Juanice Washington of Hughes
Springs, Doris Young of Silver Spring, Maryland, Loisteen Harris
(Edward) of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Rosie Nance of Arlington, Texas;
two brothers, Mr. Norman Bruce (Tiny) of Daingerfield, and Norris
Bruce (Carlenta) of Dallas; three step grandchildren, Donald and Mikel
Fisher of Daingerfield, and Jennifer Thomas of Dallas; and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Accomplishments: Educator for Love Chapel School, Victory High School,
Texarkana College, and Jefferson Independent School District before
retiring in 1987. She was a dedicated member of M.W. St. Joseph Mt.
Olive Order of the Eastern Star Lodge for 50 years. She served as
Worthy Matron and Treasurer of her local chapter, Grand Associate and
Grand Worthy Matron of the State of Texas.
She also served in offices of the upper houses of Amaranth and
Daughters of Sphinx. She helped in the purchasing and establishment of
the Hughes Springs Community Association
