The Cleveland Cemetery is located on FM 1176 about 6.5 miles southeast of Santa Anna and 6 miles north of Trickham, behind the old Cleveland Methodist Church (which is now being used as a community center).  The cemetery was started in 1901.

       This cemetery is well maintained, with an entrance gate and walk-in gate located on the east side.  There is a mailbox for registration of visitors.  The cemetery association has added many markers in cement for known and unknown graves.  Family lots may have been separated by the row method of reading used in recording this cemetery.  Rows were read in a snake fashion, ending at one row and beginning on the same end of the next row.  The north part of the cemetery is mostly not in use, with only one marked grave and several unmarked graves.  Reading began in southeast corner of the cemetery.
