JORDAN CEMETERY, COLEMAN COUNTY, TEXAS
The Jordan Cemetery is a small family cemetery located about 12 miles south of Santa Anna west of FM 2633, just north of Home Creek. The cemetery plot is on the old Lamar Turner Ranch, now owned by Pevehouse Ranch. The cemetery has a new fence and is well kept. Several of this family died in the "great die-up" of 1885, which was thought to be a diptheria epidemic, rather than smallpox.
