To reach the Old Valera Cemetery, go north from Valera on FM 503 for .2 mile, turn left (west), taking the road to the far right and go .3 mile to a metal gate.  Go through this gate, taking road to the right (north) and go .3 of a mile. The cemetery is to the left of road.

       The cemetery is well kept and fenced.  Most marked graves are in the west half, with unmarked graves scattered over all of the cemetery.  It was read in a random fashion.
