In "Coleman County Cemetery Inscriptions, Volume 3," by Vena Bob Gates and Judia and Ralph Terry, Santa Anna Cemetery, Platt II, block 142, located on page 133.  The first two inscriptions on block 142 lists the names of Teague, Sarah A., 1851 - 1925, and her husband Teague, George W.  My Pearce family record has their names as being spelled "Teagle."

Sarah's maiden name was Sarah A. Damarius Pearce and was known as "Macie."  Her husband was known as "Uncle Judge."  My concern is that either the surname on the tombstones is either incorrect or was read incorrectly when the survey was made.  Can you please verify what the correct spelling on the tombstone is?  Sarah A. Damarius (Macie), was a daughter of my Great-Great grandfather David Pearce who died May 13, 1899 in the home of Sarah A. Damarius (Macie) in Limestone County, Texas, near the Kirk community.
