Bennie Merle Winstead King Bennie Merle, born February 8, 1925, a daughter of George C. and Danie Morris Winstead, married James W. King, July 26, 1942. James Willie and Bennie reside in Lubbock where he is employed by the Texas Highway Department, as Assistant District Engineer.
