Coleman 55  -  Bangs 48

February 14, 2006

Once again, the Coleman Bluecats will be squaring off against Early in an important game tomorrow night (Friday, February 17th).  Early and Coleman finished the district schedule tied and the winner of tomorrow night's game will advance to the Bi-District round of the basketball playoffs.  The Bluecats found themselves in this position after beating the Bangs Dragons in Bangs Tuesday night, 55-48.  The Cats were down by 8 points with about 6 minutes to play, but were not about to throw in the towel.  Coach Jeremiah Munoz's Cats pressed the Dragons and worked hard to take the lead and keep it.  The Cats were 83% from the freethrow line making 31 of 37.  Coleman will travel over to Cross Plains to face the Early Longhorns for the 3rd time this season.
