"CHS won three games on last second field goals, a feat that won state wide acclaim"... these were kicked by Theodore Jamison (nicknamed "The Bionic Foot"): Eastland game, 20 yard field goal with 17 seconds to go; Breckenridge game, 27 yard field goal with 104 seconds to go, and in the Clyde game, 12 yard field goal with only 17 seconds left.  Comanche won district, but lost to Bowie 7 to 14 in bi-district.  CHS was second in district standings.
