The Coleman Bluekatt softball team won 14-4 against Anson at Tuesday's (28 February 2006) game.  The fans were treated to 9 strike-outs from freshman pitcher, Eden Duquette.  Eden also had a 3 base hit, scoring one run.  Other runs came from seniors, Jennifer Hubbard, first baseman with 1 run and 2 RBI's, Sydney Reynolds, shortstop with 3 runs and an exciting in field homerun, Kaci Hensley, second baseman with an RBI, Tedye Hambright, center fielder, with 2 runs, and Elizabeth Lindsay, outfielder, with 2 runs & 3 RBI's.  Seniors also treated fans in the 6th inning by turning a double play on runners at first and second base.  Juniors, Kanesha Graves, third baseman, had 1 run and 1 RBI; Lauren Golson, catcher, had 2 runs; and freshman, Stephanie Campbell, outfielder, had 2 runs and 1 RBI.  Coleman fans are encouraged to join the girls for their next game this Friday, March 3rd, in Albany at 4:00pm or our next home game March 14th against San Saba at 4:00pm.
