Resident of Texas since 1860 - in Coleman, Coleman County since 1889. "John Adams Alexander served in command organized in Texas for 3 years 6 months. He served in Co. I 11th Texas Infantry, Captain T. J. Foster's Company, Walker Division, Randall's Brigade." (Sworn 25 July 1916) Affadavit of witness: Appeared T. W. White and T. H. Strong: "J. A.
