In Memory - Thomas F. Schumacher
March 29, 1944

Well Tom, you have made your final flight, leaving many saddened hearts behind.  You have earned your wings the hard way, and given your all for your country.  With such a sacrifice as yours to remind us, we shall be spurred on to greater efforts.  Someday we shall meet again, up there in the beautiful blue, which we all have learned to love so well.  It's not farewell Buddy, for each flight we make, you will be flying with us.
