USS John W. Weeks; discharged June 19, 1946.

23, 1942; received training at Norfolk, Va.; sent to Pacific April 30,
1943 for 31 months’ service; was attached to 76th Construction Battalion;
held rank of seaman, third class; discharged.

Corps Depot; discharged Nov. 4, 1945.

re-enlisted June, 1946; now stationed in Austria.

awarded Purple Heart Posthumously.
