Lefevre School was first set up as a school district and called District
#30 in 1904. It is believed that this large district was broken up
between 1904 and 1909, the largest part being renamed Brown
Ranch School, and retaining the District #30 (as much of the district
fell in the old Brown Ranch), and the smaller part being broken off and
a new district, Water Valley #53, being
created.
