When the school closed at Atoka, another school was started about a mile west on the Jim Ned.  This school was known as Oak Grove.  A second building was built later, which burned.  A third building was built in the late 1920’s.  Oak Grove consolidated with Novice in 1939.  Oak Grove was District #7.
