Burdick And Burdick Firm Has Variety Of Interests Here

Luther W. and J. E. Burdick, brothers and owners of the firm bearing their name have been a part of the industrial element  of this county for many years.  They have operated farms in this section for thirty-three years.  Their feed and grain business has operated in its present location for the past three years.  Their business activities include many lines of endeavor.  They have participated in cotton buying for over 20 years.

Their assorted activities include the buying of grain, cotton and produce which they deal in extensively.  They carry feeds and seeds.  They are exclusive dealers for Magnolia Seed Company products of Dallas, for the Coleman trade territory.  This firm also handles The Diamond Milling Company products.

Their vast hatchery will supply baby chicks and turkeys beginning December first and operating on through the winter and early spring.  They are proud  to recommend their K. B. chicken feeds and all kinds of poultry supplies.  In using this line of feeds and supplies more than 90 percent of their chickens lived last year.  That is a justified recommendation within itself.  Burdick & Burdick sold 1200 chickens to Mr. John Day of Gouldbusk last year and he lost only 27 out of the entire lot.

Of special interest to the farmers is the fact that this firm carries at all times registered Cliett and Bayoy cotton seed.

Burdick Brothers have played an important part in the progress made in Coleman and Coleman county since coming here.  Their varied lines of business bring them in contact with the stable, and substantial element of this community which has contributed largely to the development and progress thereof.

(Note:  I am not sure where the business of the Burdick Brothers was located, so I have placed it here until more is known.)
