"The home of Wanda Shaw
at 501 High Road will be one of the homes included on Coleman County Medical
Center Auxiliary’s Tour of Homes scheduled for Sunday, December 3.
Wanda Shaw’s home has a very “traditional” architectural plan on the exterior
with eclectic furnishings on the inside. Heavy traditional pieces
are blended with lighter contemporary and antique accents to create a warm
and romantic feeling. The formal living and formal dining room furnishings
were purchased from Gabbert’s Design Design in Dallas. The kitchen
has Jenn Aire stainless steel appliances and a Viking cooktop. The
counter tops are made of forest green and cream ceramic tiles. The
stainless steel appliances and ceramic tiles give the kitchen a gourmet
feel. Bathrooms are each decorated around stone floorings and showers
- all selected from Expo Design in Dallas. White custom plantation
shutters were used as window treatments throughout the entire home.
Christmas decorations were selected by Kurt Adler’s in New York."
