"In 1929, the Coleman County Jail was located on the north side of Live Oak between East and West Streets (this is on the northeast corner of the Court House square).  Frank Mills, and his wife Ola, were residing at the County Jail.  He was the Sheriff of Coleman County.  Pinkney F. Dyches, Deputy Sheriff was rooming at the County Jail."  (Coleman City Directory, 1929 - Hudspeth.)
