and Organized 1927
Until 1956, the 109th Judicial District was made up of six
counties, Andrews, Crane, Loving, Reeves, Ward, and Winkler. In 1956, the Texas Legislature divided the
district and the 109th became Andrews, Crane, and Winkler
Counties. The District Attorney could have been a resident of any of the counties in the district and therefore not necessarily a resident of Crane County. |
