News of the DayThe opening celebration at the Tourist Park was held with Sledge Wilson and his orchestra.

Myrtle Chandler and Harty Camp were united in marriage Saturday. Miss Chandler is a graduate nurse of the Huth Memorial Hospital.
Ruby Karl and Dewey Henry were united Saturday in Halletsville.
