Broomwheat   John Layfayette Bassinger born in 1909 bear Italy, Texas. He had a son by the name of Bascom Leander Bassinger. According to information handed down in the family, the community in which he was born was known as "Broomwheat." We have not been able to find any information on such a community. If any one has any information on a community by this name or can give us the exact location of such a community, please contact us.
