Henry Lilly Parker, CSA Veteran Contributed by Kathleen Parker   Henry Lilly Parker, b. 1883  [1833?] in Tennessee was a Civil War veteran, buried in Grady Cemetery, Byrd,  Ellis County, Texas. Military Information: Letter to W. D. [William Duncan] Calvin Attorney at law, Ennis, Texas Aug. 22, 1929 The records show that Henry L. Parker, Pvt., Co. A., Crawford's Battalion, Ark. Inf., CSA, enlisted July 26, 1862, at Pine Bluff, Ark, for three years. Muster roll for November and December, 1863 [1862?] show him present. A portion of the Regiment not captured Jan.  11, 1863 at Ark. Post, was consolidated with portions of the 24th Ark. Inf. and Crawford's Battalion and formed Dawson's Regt., Ark, Inf. Muster roll of Co. F. 19th [Dawson's ] Regt., Ark. Inf., CSA, for Dec. 31, 1863 to Feb. 29, 1864 show H. L. Parer (not found as Henry L. Parker) as present for June 30, to Sept; 1, 1864, last roll on file. Union Prisoner of War records show that he was captured Sept. 1, 1864 near Jonesboro, and exchanged at Rough and Ready, Ga. Affadivit of Witness [Gordan Hill] stated that H. L.
