Ent Conf Serv Sept 1862 Cpl Tarnant's Battery, Light Art, Ala; present at Chickamauga, Ringold, Dalton, Resaca, Calhoun, Big Shanty, Peach Tree Creek, New Hope Church, Atlanta, Franklin and Nashville; wounded in ankle at Atlanda; taken prisoner 15 Dec 1864 Nashville and released Jan 1865 Son of Curran Williams and Caroline Hardin Williams. Born Jan. 26, 1846 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Came to Texas Nov. 1867. Married March 5, 1870 Mary Summers in Ellis County, Tex.

Was with Hood raid in Tenn; wounded at Jonesboro; taken prisoner 15 Dec 1864 Nashville and paroled 21 June 1865 at Camp Douglass, Ill. Born in Tuscaloosa Co. Ala. Jan. 26, 1846. Came to Texas in 1867.
