Camp records document the death of three members who was also members of Parson's Texas Brigade. William A. Calfee was born at Greensburg, Ky. in 1838 and moved to Waxahachie in 1861. He enlisted in Company H., Twelth Texas Cavalry, and, as regimental bugler, served throughout the entire war on the staff of Col. W. H. Parsons. Dr, R. P. Sweatt was born in Wilson County, Tenn. in April 1830 and moved to Waxahachie in 1852. He enlisted in ''Company Co., Nineteenth Texas, Parson's Brigade. He died Nov. 21, 1902 and was burial services were under the direction of Waxahachie Lodge No 90, F. aand A.M., of which he was Master in 1865. Abraham Allen Kemble was born in Warren County, Ky. in 1826 and moved to Waxahachie as a young man, joining Company C. Nineteenth Texas Cavalry in April1862. He was soon promoted to the Qjuartermaster's Department, with the rank of captain, and served in that capacity until the surrender in 1865. He was an able lawyer, possessing a judicial mind of unusual ability, noted for theclearness and incisiveness with which he presented his case.
