Ham Boyd
Oct. 1, 1896
Ham Boyd and his brothers, Jack and Albert, were
loading cattle at Ojo Caliente, Mexico, 90 miles from El Paso, when he was
gored by a steer but did not receive medical attention for 12 hours. First
word was that he was resting well, but a later telegram announced his death.
Burial will be at Auburn, Rev. J. C. Patton and Rev. I. S. Davenport
officiating.
