Obituary
J. A. Cain
J. A. Cain fell dead on the street Monday, March 1, 1897. He was crossing
the public square when a horse, driven by Officer Kinnick's son, ran up to
his side, and Cain fell on his face. Cause of death was said to be heart
failure due to fright. He was the father-in-law of R. L. Jeffers and Will
Ralston.
