Obituary Tom Conger   Ellis County Mirror July 21, 1908 Tom Conger, Red Oak constable, was shot some weeks ago and died last Frday after a lingering illness.  He was laid to rest Saturday afternoon at Bell's Chapel Cemetery. Conger was a good citizen and was a candidate for re-election, but after being wounded, was not able to continue his campaign.  It was very sad that his burial was on the same afternoon as the election.   Copyright © 2008-2016, Ellis County TXGenWeb.
