[Note - One trait that Barbara Knox had was that she saw herself as "editor in chief" and felt that it was her duty to rewrite certain items before it goes to print.
That unfortunately included obituaries and other historical documents. She thought that her version sounded better, never thinking of the consequences that it would mislead other researchers. The above pair of obituaries is likely to be an example of her work. I highly doubt that two obituaries appeared the same issue of the newspaper. I suggest that you always consult the source to get a true copy of the original obituary. - Rob Yoder]
