Son of William Nelson and Winnie C. (Pryor) Pittman; husband of Emily Virginia (Little) Pittman and Sinderella Phoebe (Chambliss) Pittman; James Nelson and Emil were the parents of Robert Asa, May Ellen, William Nelson, Claudius Preston, James Ollen and Samel DeWitt Pittman. James Nelson and Sinderella were the parents of Jim Cary, Alma Jewel, Winnie Lee, Walter Kenneth, Whitt George and Joe Pittman. Obituary . Died at his home on South Ward Street Wednesday night Nov. 21, 1917 at 10:30 o'clock.
