This appears to be a group of young acolytes or a youth choir from one of the Ennis churches. I can identify only two individuals in the photo. The person second from the RIGHT on the back row (between the young man and the taller girl) is my grandmother, Reita Ruth Fisher. The boy second from the LEFT on the front row is my grandfather's younger brother, Walter Stuart Morrison (later to become the brother-in-law of Reita Fisher). Perhaps someone will be able to help identify some of the other people in the group and also which Ennis church it is. If I had to make a guess, I would say the Episcopal Church because, when Walter Morrison died at the young age of 28, his funeral took place at the Episcopal Church in Ennis and his obit mentioned that he had been a life-long member of that church. |
