I found this photograph of in the old photographs of Bud and Claudine Hutchins Gann. I believe it was located in Ellis County off the road from Maypearl to Grandview. The Ganns lived near Maypearl for many years on a farm. Marion Fedrick Gann bought the farm in 1905 and my grandfather inherited the farm in 1927. There are 4 Gann children in the photograph as well as Hutchins cousins I think. There are no names of people on the back except it says Lela Gann Picture, April 12, 1920, Salem School. I think Lela Gann is third from the right on the 1st standing row. (This is my father's sister born 1912) Elbert Gann is 6th from the left on back row. (My father's oldest brother born 1906) Homer Gann is third from the left 2nd row from the back. (My father born in 1910) Claude Gann is 6th from right in the kneeling row. (My father's brother born 1914) The four people are the children of Bud and Claudine Hutchins Gann that lived near Maypearl, TX I think Leona Hutchins is 4th from the left on the 1st standing row (My father's cousin born 1911) Daughter of Charles Dillard and Milea Harvey Hutchins. I do not know anyone else in the photograph and I am using other family photographs to identify these people to the best of my ability. Good luck and Good Hunting, Marcus Gann |
