Mr. Dark and Earnest Staley Wray My father and all of his siblings were born in & around Milford. The family home was on the main street [highway] through Milford. The Interurban tracks went along to Dallas on this street. Some of their neighbors were the Dark family, the Wray family, & the Rosson family. Several yrs. ago my cousin gave me the pictures of the Wray family. His mother was Margaret Lois Wray who married my father's brother. Her brother was Ernest Staley Wray . The picture above shows Mr. Dark, who ran a grocery store in Milford, delivering groceries with Earnest Staley Wray in a mule drawn wagon in Milford, Texas, ca. 1908. |
