NOTES: Andrew & Sue were first cousins. They operated a plantation and were members of the Harmony Presbyterian Church at Stewards Mill. He died as a result of exposure during his CSA service. He was first buried in Fairfield but the body was exhumed and reinterred as the third grave in the Bonner Cemetery. Sue Bonner and her five children lived with her nephew and sister-in-law for a while before establishing their own home near Stewards Mill. She was well-known as a hostess of enjoyable entertainments for both young and old. |
