John Thomas was born in Freestone Co., TX. He is the son of Edward Ezell (1830 - 1903) and Francis (Howard) Ezell (1828 - 1875). First married Mary Elizabeth Ezell (11 February 1865 - 21 December 1897) second to Rhodie Webb (3 July 1877 - 16 December 1960). He is buried at Antioch (Luna) Cemetery, Freestone Co., TX.
