Groesbeck New Era
Quite a
sad and fatal accident happened last Wednesday evening to Walter
Johnston, one of Kosse’s best and noblest young men. While
attempting to clean up his target rifle, not knowing that it was
loaded, the gun fired, the ball penetrating the stomach, ranged
upward and lodged in the lung. He lived through the night
until 7 o’clock Thursday morning when death relieved him of his
suffering.
