Following is an excerpt of 3 of the 12 months of minutes from the Ecclesiastical Corner originally published in Volume 5, Issue 4.
The Missionary Baptist Church at Luna met in regular
conference on Saturday night before the first Sunday in January, 1933.
After preaching and song service, conference opened and old business
called for. There being no old or miscellaneous business, new business
called for. Sunday at eleven o'clock, Bro. Arnold MONCRIEF offered his
resignation as Church Clerk. There was a move and second made that the
church elect a new clerk and Clinton HUGHES was elected as church clerk.
There being no other business, conference closed Sunday night.

The Missionary Baptist Church at Luna met in regular
conference on Saturday night before the second Sunday in July. After song
and prayer service and preaching by Bro. CURRY, conference was opened.
There being no old or unfinished business. As Bro. CURRY had to go home
Bro. SHADDOX had to start the meeting on Monday night and stayed the whole
week. Conference was left open until the close of the meeting. On Thursday
at eleven o'clock service, Bro. Arnold MONCRIEF and wife and Sister Annie
MONCRIEF joined by statement. Bro. Hobert MORRISON and wife joined by
letter. Thursday night Bro. and Sister J. W. SARDERS joined by letter.
Friday at the eleven o'clock service Bro. Park MANDEVILLE asked the church
for he and his wife letter and church granted them their letter in full
fellowship. Saturday night Elvin BOTTOMS joined for baptism and wife by
statement. Bro. Barney COTHRAN joined by baptism and wife by letter. Bro.
CURRY came back Saturday night and finished the meeting as Bro. SHADDOX
had to go to another meeting, they made up a collection for him. Got about
$20.00. Sunday at the water, conference closed.

The Missionary Baptist Church at Luna met in regular
conference on Saturday night before the first Sunday in September. After
on Saturday night before the first Sunday in September. After preaching by
Bro. Henry TISDALE, conference was opened and business was called for.
There being no old or unfinished business, new business was called for.
Sunday night we elected the delegates for the Association. They were Bro.
Elvin BOTTOMS, Bro. Clinton HUGHES and Sister Dixon THOMPSON. For
alternate, were Bro. Ben NORTON and wife and Sister Myrtle BEASLEY. It was
moved and second that the church would call for the Association for
another year. Bro. and Sister MORRISON letters were read and Sister Abbie
COTHRAN letter was read. Bro. Edwin BEAVER asked the church for his
letter. Bro. Arthur THOMPSON made a move and it was second that the church
would grant him a letter in full fellowship. As this was the appointed
time to call a pastor for another year, Bro. TISDALE got a unanimous vote
and he asked the church to give him another month to answer the call.
There being no other business, conference closed.
