Thomas Jefferson 'Tom' Blacklock was born April 21, 1893. He was the oldest son of 6 sons and a daughter born to Clark Wilson and Amanda Lou Edwards Blacklock in Callahan Co., TX. He was raised in Coryell Co. TX where he met and married Fannie Miller, daughter of William M. and Mattie Moore Miller of Coryell Co. TX. They married Sept 10, 1911 in Levita, Coryell Co., TX.
Tom
helped his dad farm until his dad's death in 1920 in Coryell Co. They
then moved to Waco, then back to Coryell Co., TX. Children born
to this family was: Roy
Lee, Durwood
Elmo, Ruby
Nell, Francis
Pauline and Bessie
Claudine.
About 1930 they moved to Garza Co., TX, where three of his brothers were going, Pat, Bunt and Virge. I don't remember Uncle Tom farming in Garza County, I do know that he was the janitor at the county courthouse for many years, retiring from that job about 1960 or so. Aunt Fannie was a homemaker.

husband and son, are buried in Terrace Cemetery. Tom died of heart
problems Feb 28, 1973 in Lubbock, Aunt
Fannie July 2, 1975 in
Post. Ruby Nell
died July 1996 in Post, her husband T.F,
just died this year (2004).
Roy Lee
died in 1987 and is buried In Hubbard, Hill County. Durwood
Elmo was killed in a car
accident April 5, 1961 in Bakersfield, CA, he is buried in Taft, CA. Pauline
and Claudine
both reside in California at present, (2004).
