Football Team

AMOS JACKSON
A steady performing guard was Amos, for the past two years. He also showed good brain work.

LEROY CHAPMAN
Leroy was a good reserve guard and later shifted to the backfield. He shows all around ability as a football player.

JOE DAVIS
Joe played only one year for Kilgore which he proved to be a great plunger, and a good defense line backer.

FLOYD BOLT
A small, but mighty back fielder.

DELL TAYLOR
One year letterman, played consistent football.

GLYNN WALDO
Two years of football at end position, Glynn is good on the defense and a great blocker.

JOHN BURT
John was a great defense man on the end position. For the past three years he was quick action and a fast starter.

JOHN KNIGHT
Husky tackle; played a steady game of football for two years.

ROY RIPPOND
A four year letter man being an outstanding punter. Roy made All District in "34."

HOYT JOHNSON
A fast man who will fight with the Bulldogs next year.

BILL BUTLER
Bill played three years as a husky tackle and good on the defense.

JOE COSTON
Valuable player who played his last game for the Red and White.

BRYAN A. BARTON
Bryan was a rarin-to-go tackle for the past two years in Kilgore. He also proved good as a line backer.

LEROY WETZEL
Leroy, being the smallest backfIeld man, could block, as well as a good defense man.

ROY JOHNSON
One year letterman; a good plugging lineman.

ROBERT COLLINS
Better known as "Firpo," Bob made "All District" and "All East Texas" guard. Also a great power man.

LERON GIFFOFD
Known as eel Gifford, because of his quick turns and twists. Leron played one year proving to be a great safety man.

ROBERT ROBINSON
One year letterman; and also a good plugging lineman.
