Rock Springs Cemetery, near Gladewater, Gregg Co. TX
Directions; From Gladewater, take Hwy 271 to 135, turn left, at Country Club Rd, turn right, at Old 135 turn left. The cemetery is approximately 1 mile on the left. Rock Springs Schoolhouse-----Texas Historical Monument.
Next to the school is a covered pavilion---donated by family members in the name of Bunie Troxel. Set in a lovely meadow with several different types of trees, lots of wild flowers, and one little snake that kept on going. A well-kept cemetery, with lots of flower memorials. There are many graves just marked with iron ore rocks as head and footstones, with no inscriptions, also many rusted funeral home markers with no information. Several graves listed on earlier readings were not found, this could be due to leaves covering them. Read by Sharon Pierce, Judy Greenway, and Randy Pierce,
