	Kane, Howard G - S 1/c Howard G Kane, son of Mr & Mrs E E Kane, is a graduate of Pine Tree HS. Entered Navy in 1944. Trained at San Diego, Calif. Served in Australia, India, Egypt, Arabia and Ceylon. Now on duty in San Diego, Calif.
	Kane, Lawrence B - 1st Lt Lawrence B Kane, son of Mr & Mrs E E Kane and husband of Josephine Hamilton Kane, is a graduate of Pine Tree HS. Entered Army in 1937. Trained at Ft Francis Warren, Wyo. Served in German, France, England and Belguim. Now en route home.
	Kaplan, Bernard H - Capt Bernard H Kaplan, son of Mr & Mrs J Kaplan, Gladewater. Entered Army in 1941, trained at Ft Riley, Kan. Served in Transport Div. in the Pacific Theater of War. Now on duty in San Francisco.
	Karnes, Richard E - S 2/c Richard E Karnes, son of Mr & Mrs Ray Karnes, attended Gladewater HS and was an outstanding player on the football team. Entered Navy in 1945, trained at San Diego, Cal. Now on duty at Camp Parks, Calif.
	Karnes, Robert R - S/Sgt Robert R Karnes, son of Mr & Mrs Rya Kearnes, attended Gladewater HS. Entered Air Corps in 1942, trained at Colorado Springs, Colo. Has served in Australia, New Guinea, Dutch East Indies, Philippines and China. Holds Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters and seven Bronze Stars. (NOTE: Karnes spelled 2 different ways)
	Kaylor, Charles R - F 1/c Charles R Kaylor, son of Mrs Annie Kaylor, husband of Elizabeth Lamb Kaylor. Entered Navy in 1944, trained at San Diego, Cal. and Gulfport, Miss. Now on duty at San Diego, Cal.
	Kaylor, Lawrence - S 2/c Lawrence Kaylor, son of Mrs Annie Kaylor, husband of Sudie Bryant Kaylor. Entered Navy in 1942, trained at San Diego, Cal. Has an honorable discharge.
	Kaylor, William D - Pfc William D Kaylor, son of Mrs Annie Kaylor. Entered Marines in 1942, trained at San Diego, Cal. Served in Tinian and in the Marianas where now on duty.
	Kearley, Bill M - Ensign Bill M Kearley, son of Mr & Mrs W M Kearley, husband of Joy Steele Kearley, attended Gladewater HS, Kilgore College, A & M and SMU. Entered the Navy in 1942, trained at SMU, Schuyler, NY, Miami, Fla. and Hollywood, Fla. where now on duty.
	Keel, Jack - PHM 2/c Jack Keel, son of W J Keel, graduated from Kilgore HS. Entered Navy May, 1943; trained at San Diego, Cal. Served in the Philippines, Hawaii, Australia and New Guinea. Now on duty in Hawaii.
	Keel, Robert E - Sgt Robert E Keel, son of Mr & Mrs S J Keel. Entered Army Air Corps Jan. 1942. Trained in Australia. Has served in Australia, New Guinea, East Indies, and now on duty at Ft Sumner, NM. Holds Good Conduct, Pres. Citation and three Major Battles.
	Keeling, Glyn W - Cpl Glyn Keeling, son of W W Keeling, graduated from HS in Oklahoma, attended Kilgore College. Entered Army in July 1944; trained at Camp Roberts, Cal. Served in Hawaii Islands, and now on duty in Okinawa. Holds Marksmanship.
	Keenan, John H - FC 2/c John H Keenan, husband of Louise Walton Keenan, attended Kilgore College. Entered Navy in 1943, trained at San Diego, Calif. and Norfolk, Va. Has served in the South and Southwest Pacific. Now on duty in Hawaii.
	Keeton, J M - Pfc J M Keeton entered the Inf. in 1944; trained at Camp Wolters, Texas. Has served 14 months overseas in France, Belgium and Germany. Has Purple Heart, was wounded in Belgium in Dec. 1944. Now on duty at Marseille, France.
	Keith, Paul B - Pfc Paul B Keith, son of Mr & Mrs J N Keith, husband of Winnie Stilwell Keith. Entered Army Signal Corps in 1942, trained at Camp Kohler, Calif. and Western Signal Corps School, Calif. served in European Theater. Received two Battle Stars and now has Honorable Discharge.
	Kelly, James L - Y 2/c James L Kelly, son of Mrs Lee Kelly and husband of Frances Noblitt Kelly, attended Longview HS. Entered the USNR in 1943; trained at Corpus Christi, Texas. Now on duty at San Diego, Cal.
	Kelly, Melvin J - Pfc Melvin J Kelly, son of Mrs Lee Kelly and husband of Leila Beth Chandler Kelly, attended Longview HS. Entered Army in 1945, trained at Camp Wolters, Texas and now on duty there.
	Kelsey, John O - Cpl John O Kelsey, son of Mrs Mae Garner, husband of Patsy Ashcraft Garner, attended Longview HS. Entered Army Ord. Maintenance in 1941. Trained at Brownwood after having served with the Nat'l Guard for five years before entering service. Now on duty at Camp Roberts, Cal.
	Keltner, John W - Pfc John W Keltner, son of Mr & Mrs T G Keltner, husband of Audra Welch Keltner, attended Longview HS. Became a paratrooper in 1943; trained at Camp Abbot, Oregon. Has served in England, France, Belgium and Germany. Holds the Purple Heart. Now on duty in England.
	Keltner, Marvin B - Capt Marvin B Keltner, son of Mr & Mrs T G Keltner, husband of Ida Harrison Keltner; attended Longview HS. Entered Army in 1940; trained at Camp Bowie, Texas, Ft Benning, Ga. and Ft McClellan, Ala. Retired now.
	Kerley, Lynn - Pfc Lynn Kerley, son of Mr & Mrs P C Kerley, husband of Maudie Davis, attended school at Jerard, Texas. Entered Army in 1945, trained at Camp Wolters. Now on duty in the Pacific.
	Kerr, Dolores - Cpl Dolores Kerr, niece of Mr & Mrs W G Millard. Entered WACS Med. Corps in 1945; trained at Ft Oglethorpe, Ga. Now on duty at Harmon General Hospital, Longview, Texas.
	Kesterson, Emory I - S/Sgt Emory I Kesterson, son of Mr & Mrs O L Kesterson, graduated from Kilgore HS. Entered Army Air Corps Dec. 1941; trained at Lemon, Calif. Served in England, France, Germany, Belgium. A POW 1944-1945. Now on duty at Ft Worth, AA Field.
	Kesterson, O L - SF 2/c O L Kesterson, son of Mr & Mrs O L Kesterson, graduated from Kilgore HS. Entered Navy on Jan 2, 1943; trained at Norfolk, Va. Served in the Atlantic, now on duty in the Admiralty Islands.
	Ketchum, William W - AB William W Ketchum, son of Mr & Mrs C F Ketchum, husband of the former Billie Wieland. Entered Merchant Marines in 1942; trained at St Petersburg, Fla. Served in England, Italy, Australia, Iran, Russia, South America, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Canada and in the Pacific. Now has an Honorable Discharge.
	Keys, Gerald W - S 1/c Gerald W Keys, son of Mr & Mrs C L Keys, attended Sabind HS. Entered Navy in June 1944; trained at San Diego, Calif. Served on Saipan, Leyte, Guam, and now on duty in Camp Chicago, Calif.
	Keys, Leonard E - S 1/c Leonard E Keys, son of C L Keys, husband of the former Vivian Sisk, attended Saline HS and graduated from Shield of Faith HS, Ft Worth Texas. Entered the Navy in Dec. 1943; trained at San Diego, Calif. Now on duty in Haltville, Calif.
	Kidwell, Billy R - S 2/c Billy R Kidwell, son of Mr & Mrs H N Kidwell, attended Longview HS. Entered Navy in 1945; trained at San Diego, Calif. Served at Pearl Harbor and Guam, now on duty on Marshalls.
	Killingsworth, Edward P - 1st Lt Edward P Killingsworth, son of Mrs Elsie Killingsworth, attended Longview HS and BMI. Entered Inf. in 1941; trained at Camp Bowie, Camp Claiborne, La., Camp Benning, Ga. and Camp Meade, Md. He served in England, France, and was killed in Luxembourg on Dec. 21, 1944. Awarded Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
	Killingsworth, Ike K - Capt Ike K Killingsworth, son of the Mate Mr & Mrs Thos. E Killingsworth. Entered Air Corps in 1942. Served in England, France, Belgium, Luxembourg with the 9th Air Force as a fighter pilot Flight Com. Holds DFC, Air Medal with 15 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, ETO Ribbon with 5 Bronze Stars.
	Killingsworth, James L - Pfc James L Killingsworth, son of Mrs Elsie Killingsworth, attended Longview HS. Entered Army Inf. in 1943; trained at Ft Riley, Kan., Camp Polk, La. Has served in Holland, France and Germany. Now on duty with the Army of Occupation in Czechoslovakia.
	Killingsworth, Robert V - CM 2/c Robert V Killingsworth, son of Mrs Elsie Killingsworth, attended Judson Grove HS. Entered the Seabees in 1943, trained at Camp Peary, Va., Gulfport, Miss. Served in Australia and the Philippines where now on duty.
	King, James D - Pfc James D King, son of David M King, husband of Dorothy King. Entered Army in 1944; trained at Ft Sam Houston, Camp Hood and Ft Ord., Calif. Has served at Luzon in the Philippines and now on duty there.
	King, Miles T - T/Sgt 23rd Photo Sqdn. Miles T King, son of Mr & Mrs Billie King. Entered Air Corps in 1942; trained at Camp Wolters, Texas and Colorado Springs, Colo. Served in England, Africa, France and Italy, where now on duty at Florence.
	Kinsey, Monnie R - Cpl Monnie R Kinsey, husband of Lois Pannell Kinsey. Entered Army in 1942; trained at Sheppard Field, Waco Army Air Field, and Camp Hoze, Texas. Served in Germany, where now on duty. Holds Good Conduct Medal, Inf. Com. Badge and Purple Heart.
	Kinsey, Robert F - S/Sgt Robert F Kinsey, husband of Ella Fae Sowders, attended Kilgore HS. Entered Army 1937; trained at ft Warren, Wyo, Camp Robinson, Ark., Camp Crowder, Mo., and Ft Lewis, Wash. Served in Philippines and now on duty at Luzon.
	Kirkley, Cecie J - Pfc Cecie J Kirkley, husband of Mrs Jewel Kirkley, Gladewater. Entered Inf. in 1940, trained at Brownwood, Texas with the 36th Division. Has served all over the US. Now on duty at Naples, Italy.
	Knighton, Jehu D - PHM 1/c Jehu D Knighton, husband of Nelwyn Campbell Knighton. Entered the service in 1942; trained at Pensacola, Fla and at Camp LeJeune, NC. Served in Trinidad, Algeria, Africa, Guam, Saipan, Okinawa and all of the Campaigns with the 2nd Marines. Now has Honorable Discharge.
	Knox, Clyde H - COX Clyde H Knox, son of Mrs Edna Knox, Longview. Entered Seabees in 1943, trained at Quoddy Village, Me., and Camp Perry, Va. Has served in Saipan and now on duty at Okinawa.
	Kokenzie, Alexander - S/Sgt Alexander Kokenzie, son of Mr & Mrs John Kokenzie, husband of Retha Faircloth Kokenzie. Entered Anti-Aircraft Art. in 1939. Served in England, France, Holland, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. Has Cert. of Merit, four Battle Stars, and other awards.
	Krenek, James B - Y 3/c James B Krenek, son of R E Hale, husband of Billie Bewley, graduate of Kilgore HS. Entered Navy in Feb 13, 1942, trained at San Diego. Was stationed at Pearl Harbor, granted Honorable Discharge Feb 1943.
	Kruse, Curtis F - Cpl Curtis F Kruse, son of Mr & Mrs C L Kruse. Entered Air Corps in 1942; trained at Albuquerque, NM. Has served in New Guinea and the Netherlands, East Indies. Now on duty at Biak Island.
	Kulak, Eddie - S 1/c Eddie Kulak, husband of Rieda Roever Kulak. Entered Navy in 1943, trained at San Diego, Cal and in Arlington, Wash. where he graduated as Aviation Mechanic on the USS Matanikaw, Aircraft Carrier. Now on duty in the Pacific.
	Kulig, Stanley M - Sgt Stanley M Kulig, attended school in Bondsville, Mass. Entered the Inf in 1939, trained at Schofield, Bks., Oahu, TH. Served at Guadalcanal, Schofield, TH and Harmon General Hospital. Served as Athletic Ins. and Phys. Instructor. was at the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
	Kutch, George F - S 2/c George F Kutch, son of Mr & Mrs P F Kutch, attended Gladewater HS. Entered Army in 1945, trained at US Naval Training Center in San Diego, Calif, now on duty there.
	Kutch, P F - COX P F Kutch, son of Mr & Mrs P F Kutch, attended White Oak HS. Entered Navy in 1943, trained at Corpus Christi, Texas. Served at Puerto Rico, where now on duty at San Juan.
	Kuykendall, Tommie - Sgt Tommie Kuykendall, son of Mr & Mrs G T Kuykendall, husband of Dean Hodges Kuykendall. Entered air Corps in 1942, trained at Sheppard Field, and Amarillo, Texas, and LaJunta, Colo. and Roswell, NM, where now on duty.
