TULLY CHOICE BIBLE
Tully Choice was born June 17th, A D 1753 Tully Choice and Rebecca, his wife was married August 15th, 1791 Rebecca Sims was born October 29, 1775 John Choice, son of T and R Choice was born January 5th, 1793 and departed this life the 15th of same month (1793) Feenton Choice, son of R and R Choice was born March 25th 1796 Feenton Choice departed this life November 3rd 1799 Ann, daughter of T and R Choice was born August 7th 1797 William Choice son of T and R Choice was born February 11th 1800 Tully Choice son of T and R Choice was born June 10th 1802 and departed this life July 8, 1803 Ruth M Choice, daughter of T and R Choice was born April 15th 1804 Jesse Choice, son of T and R Choice was born October 23rd 1806 Katherene Choice, daughter of T and R Choice was born July 8, 1810 Martha Choice, daughter of T and R Choice was born April 30th 1815 Rebecca Choice, daughter of T and R Choice was born October 29, 1818 Second Generation Jesse Choice, son of T and R Choice was born October 23rd 1806 Louisa S was born 16th November 1810 Jesse Choice and Louisa, his wife, were married March 22, 1832 Third Generation Tully Choice, son of Jesse and Louisa S was born February 11th 1833 1st married Emily Gary - she died 1862 - (see minutes of the Sharon Baptist Church Jamestown, Smith Co., Texas), buried Mt Sylvan Cemetery, Smith Co., Texas. Their first two children died in infancy - Daughter, Emily M Henry Graybill Lawrence February 12th 1885 (?), Mt Sylvan Community, Smith Co., Texas. Emily died Nov. 9th, 1940 and Mr Lawrence d. January 29th 1929. Both are buried in Kilgore Cemetery, Kilgore, Texas. Mr. Lawrence was born in Millegeville, Ga. They had three children, Dr Michael Jackson Lawrence, Mrs George Culver, and a sister. The son of Tully Choice and Emily Gary, was Jesse Eugene Choice who married Achsah Beall. Tully Choice married 2nd Mrs Mollie (Gary) Butts, sister to Emily Gary. Their son John Ingram Choice married Carrie Clinkscale. Tully married 3rd Mrs Virginia (Florence) Gipson. Their daughter, Ruth d in infancy. Mrs. Gipson had one son, Virgil Gipson. Tully Choice was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church, Jamestown, Smith Co., Texas in 1860; he was moderator many times and became pastor of the church in 1867 and resigned in 1875. He died May 1896 and is buried in Mt Sylvan Cemetery. Jesse Choice, son of T and Louisa departed this life the 15th of January 1842 The bible was owned by Mrs George Culver (Nov 1963), granddaughter
of Rev. Choice......additional information is from Mrs. Culver.
