Annabelle Cook 

Funeral services for Annabelle Cook, 76, of Athens were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Foster & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Gibbs officiating. 

Burial was at the Athens City Cemetery. 

Mrs. Cook died Saturday afternoon, Oct. 17, 1998, at the East Texas Medical Center Athens. 

She was born June 16, 1922, in Livingston, the daughter of William Tell and Sadie Eunice Ray Hester. 

Mrs. Cook was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Athens. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Clifford Cook, on Oct. 28, 1996. 

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Harold III and Tommie Cook of Athens; two daughters and a son-in-law, Virginia Ann Cook of Dallas and Barbara and Glen Majors of Athens; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and cousins. 

Pallbearers are Parker Majors, Mike Ehrhardt, Jason Stukas, Andrew Stukas, Wade Carter and Wes Carter.
