Bessie Ilena Harrison 

Funeral services for Bessie Ilena Harrison, 96, of Corsicana are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Athens City Cemetery under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Gibbs officiating. 

Mrs. Harrison died April 12, 1999, in Corsicana. 

She was born August 18, 1902, in Palestine. 

Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband, Alan C. Harrison in 1959; a son, Alan Eugene Harrison in 1931; and one sister, Ila Knight, in 1989. 

She is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Sue and George Yarbrough of Kerens and Lee and H.E. Timmons of Waco; three grandchildren, Diana Morris of Kerens, Monty Pennell of Corsicana and James Pennell of Sherman; and five great-grandchildren. 

Honorary pallbearers will be George Yarbrough, H.E. Timmons, James Pennell, Monty Pennell, Diana Morris and Stephanie Baird. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m.
