Catherine Pauline Clark Services for Catherine Pauline Clark, 67, of Athens are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of God, 599 Robbins Road., with the Rev. David Snyder and the Rev. Henry Lusk officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Mrs. Clark died Dec. 6, 1998, at her residence. She was born July 22, 1932, in Sumner, Miss., to Thomas Alexander and Willie Farmer Woods. Mrs. Clark had resided in Athens since 1984 and was formerly from Delhi, La. She was a member of the Church of God. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by a brother, James S. Woods. She is survived by her husband, Will Felton Clark of Athens; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Richard Walls of Zachary, La., and Lowanda and Edward Purvis of Strong, Ark.; one son and daughter-in-law, Allen Wayne and Donna Clark of LaRue; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four sisters, Virgie Taylor of Cascilla, Miss., Wilma Goodwin of Greenwood, Miss., Bertie Mae Mathis of Starkville, Miss., and Barbara Brunson of Grenada, Miss.; four brothers, Thomas Woods of Yazoo, Miss., Raymond Woods of Winona, Miss., Bobby Woods of Winona, Miss., and Luther Woods of Greenwood, Miss.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
