Graveside services for Dessie Mae Ross, 80 of Athens were held Thursday 
in Athens City Cemetery with Dr. Grover C. Bishop officiating. Services 
were conducted under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home 
of Athens. Miss Ross died Tuesday in Lakeland Medical Center. She 
was born June 11, 1906 in Athens and lived in Athens for her entire 
life. She was an employee of Athens Laundry and a member of the Central 
Baptist Church.
She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Illa Strother of Dallas,
