Ethel Maurine Larkin

Graveside services for Ethel Maurine Larkin, 97, of Big Spring are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Athens City Cemetery with the Rev. Walter McCall officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens.

Mrs. Larkin died Oct. 4, 2003, in Big Spring.

She was born Aug. 12, 1906, in Frost to Leon O'Brien Jackson and Lillie Bell McCord Jackson.

She was a retired bookkeeper for the city of Temple and a former member of First Baptist Church of Temple.

 
 
Mrs. Larkin was preceded in death by her husband, William Larkin Sr.; and son, William Larkin Jr.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Sue Ann Larkin.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Mountain View Lodge, 2009 Virginia, Big Spring, TX 79720.
