Jim Bob Sanders, October 28, 1945 Miss Jim Bob Sanders of Athens employee of a brokerage firm in Tyler was found dead in her room there Sunday night about 10 o'clock. She died of natural causes, possibly a heart attack. Her roommate, Miss Mary Webb, discovered the body when she returned home, and it was believed she had been dead since about 5 p.m. Sunday. Miss Sanders was born in Athens on May 24, 1925, and had been in Tyler only a short time. She attended school in Athens and had been a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church for the last five years. Surviving are her parents Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Sanders of Athens; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Perry; two brothers, Perry Sanders of Mineola, adn Charles Sanders of Athens; and four sisters, Mrs. R.W. Fuller, Frances Sanders, Gladys Hawkins, and Thelma Hawkins, all of Athens. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at theFundamental Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. John Duckett officiating, Burial was in the City Cemetery. Pallbears were Cameron Mitcham, Gilbert Perry, Melford Graham, Buck Williford, Buddy Thompson, and J.T. Trotman. The Hassell and Foster Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
